Names Shortlisted For TRA Interview,April 2025

The Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) has officially released a list of 112,952 shortlisted candidates who are called for a written interview in 2025. This announcement, titled “Tangazo la Kuitwa Kwenye Usaili”, is a significant milestone for thousands of job applicants who applied between February 6–19, 2025.

TRA, established under the Act No. 11 of 1995, began operations on July 1, 1996, and continues to play a pivotal role in collecting and accounting for government revenue. The authority is currently implementing its Sixth Corporate Plan (CP6: 2022/23 – 2026/27) under the vision of being “A Trusted Revenue Institution for Social and Economic Development.”


🗓 Interview Process Begins 2025

TRA confirms that the interview process will begin on 2025, and will be conducted in several phases depending on the job category. Applicants are urged to check the specific interview date, time, and location mentioned in the official notice.


✅ Important Instructions for Candidates

All shortlisted candidates are expected to strictly follow these guidelines to be eligible for the written interview:

  1. Official Interview Call Letter:
    Must bring the call letter containing the Examination Number sent via email. This number is essential for identification and participation.
  2. Valid Identification Documents:
    Accepted IDs include:
    • National ID (NIDA)
    • Resident ID
    • Voter ID
    • Driver’s License
    • Passport
    • Local government introduction letter
    Note: Any other form of ID will not be accepted.
  3. Original Academic Certificates Required:
    Candidates must carry original copies of the following:
    • Birth Certificate
    • Secondary School (Form IV & VI) Certificates
    • Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Degrees
    • Academic Transcripts
    Photocopies must also be provided. Provisional or result slips will not be accepted.
  4. Certificate Verification:
    • Starts at 6:00 AM (Morning Session)
    • Starts at 12:00 PM (Afternoon Session)
      Only those who pass certificate verification will proceed to the interview.
  5. International Qualifications:
    Must be verified and approved by relevant bodies such as TCU, NACTE, or NECTA.
  6. Professional Board Registration (If Applicable):
    Candidates applying for regulated professions must present valid registration and working licenses.
  7. Special Needs Candidates:
    Encouraged to arrive early and report to the supervisor for necessary assistance.
