About the Role

Ramada Hotel is looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Coordinator to collaborate closely with our human resources strategy. You will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee assistance, ensuring our team members are engaged and happy, and working in line with company policies and Tanzanian labour law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Manager in day-to-day HR operations and all HR-related departments.
  • Assist in advertising, interviewing, and selecting high-quality talent.
  • Schedule and plan employee-related activities, and ensure a positive work environment.
  • Support performance reviews and skill development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and handle payroll coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with disciplinary and grievance processes and disciplinary actions.
  • Plan staff engagement activities and welfare programs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in HR within the hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS experience is an advantage.
  • A team player who can maintain confidentiality and discretion.
